Hurricane Damage and Oil Keep Gas Afloat

Although lower than where it had been trending through last week. Gas prices still remain high as a result of lost production from Ivan. The same thing is helping drive the current oil prices. It is estimated that 1.8 bcf/day is still not available.

Gas inventories are filled up. They always are this time of year. We have to just wait for the winter with these current prices helping make the wait palatable.
